Ich habe mir gerade Tulsa angehört und ich muss sagen ... eigentlich hab ich keine Ahnung was ich da sagen soll ... WAHNSINN!!!!

Erstens ist es eine erstklassige Aufnahme, die die Stimmung des Publikums voll rüber bringt. Und Plant und die Band sind so was von gut drauf, einfach genial.

Die wichtigsten Neuerungen:

Somewhere Trouble Don't Go - eine Nummer von Buddie Miller, bei der er zeigt was er drauf hat.
Over The Hills And Far Away - Eine Akustik Version des Led Zeppelin Klassikers, die mir sehr gut gefällt. Besonders stimmungsvoll durch das mitsingende Publikum.
You Can Have Her - Ein Spiritual der einfach rockt. Plant beweist hier wieder einmal mehr, dass er einer der größten Sänger ist (oder hat ihm hier Elvis geholfen??) Auf jeden Fall ist es das, was ich mir von einer Band Of Joy erwartet habe.

Meine Meinung zu den neuen Songs: Angel Dance schließt gut an Dance To The Sea an. House Of Cards und Harm's Swift Way sind gelungene Nachfolger von Raising Sand. Meine Favorite sind aber eindeutig Satan Your Kingdom Must Come Down, Central Two O Nine und Monkey. Besonders die Kombination Nobody's Fault But Mine mit Satan... ist mehr als gelungen.

Fazit: Ein fantastisches Konzert, bei dem ich jeden beneide, der dabei war. Plant und die Band sind einfach nur gut drauf. Einziger Nachteil, ohne Equalizer ist der Sound nicht sehr besonders. Ich hab das Konzert mit Winamp angehört und den EQ auf 'Rock' eingestellt und den Vorverstärker etwas runter gedreht.

Phoenix:
Hier kommt der Patty Griffin Song Satisfied Mind hinzu. Mir wäre lieber gewesen, sie hätten You Can Have Her im Programm gelassen.

Tucson: Hier wird Nobody's Fault But Mine durch den Country Song If I Had My Way ersetzt. Warum? Damit wird ein Highlight des Konzertes zunichte gemacht. Ich hoffe dass das wieder geändert wird.

Ansonsten genießt die Aufnahmen und freut euch auf das Berlin Konzert.
